We must travel fast
and navigate by stars
The currents may be misleading sometimes
echoes in the

river delta
elusive source of life

Now that we’re in this mess together
I must summon all my strength for you
I’m maladapted to these waters
The oxygen is getting low

Metamorphosis
as I turn fire red
at least this is an upstream struggle and
not the other way

The end draws nearer
deep cuts in my side
I still sense your pheromones
far beyond the

river delta
towards the relentless sun

Now that we’re in this mess together
I will summon all my strength for you
I am adapted to these waters
I know exactly where I will find you

Like a billion eyes
our scales are shimmering in the light

Turbulent river
carries them away
from all the hardship and the suffering
to a brand new day

Turbulent river
washes them away
and in this chaos I can see one thing:
